Here in the PNW, we often times don't know when Spring will start. This year, we experienced many days of snow and chilly weather (kids even had an abundance of snow days)!. Recently, however, our weather has been warming up with the piles of snow melting away...the days are starting to get longer and allergies are in full effect (why, as I'm typing this, my right eye looks like I've been punched)! Spring is one of my fave seasons (aside from Fall) and I'm excited to break out my maxi dresses, off-the-shoulder tops, strappy sandals, and rocking shimmery and (maybe) pastel makeup! What are your plans this Spring?! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most recent entries 3/14/2019 beautiful-victoria-bc-things-to-do.html

Ahhh, the month of LOVE...I don't know about you all but I think we should try and celebrate with our loves in little ways every single day! But, really, I get it. There's the one day in February to celebrate the big L and it's fun to go out with your significant others, your girlfriends for a Galentine's event, and maybe just taking a sweet night with your little ones. Whatever makes YOU happy! February is going to be a busy one yet again - with several birthdays in my family, Vietnamese New Year, and some home prep for something big coming up (it's hush-hush right now but will definitely announce it when we're ready). It might be a little tough staying on schedule but, of course, I will always try my best! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most recent entries Can you believe it?! 2019 already! Like everyone else, I have my new years goals planned and I'm ready to take action. The difference for me this year compared to years past is that I'm not going to beat myself over things that don't go perfectly the first time around. Here's to another 365 days and 365 chances! CHEERS everyone and Happy 2019...LET’S KILL IT! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most recent entries 1/29/2019 salish-lodge-spa-snoqualmie-wa.html
1/12/2019 9-tips-on-youthful-beauty.html 1/2/2019 5-tips-in-setting-goals-for-the-new-year.html Since it's the holiday season and most of us will be doing a gazillion things for the holidays, I'll be combining the months of November and December. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be upon us soon and it's pretty much GO-TIME!!! This season, however, is also a time to reflect on our lives...what we're thankful for, time spent with friends and family, and the spirit of the holidays. I, for one, am excited to spend any time with my loved ones and I'm thankful for my family and each day that I get to experience or learn something new. What are you looking forward to this holiday season? To close out 2018, I will be busy writing and collecting content so, without further ado, enjoy the following entries for these next couple of months... Happy Holidays from me and my family to yours! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most recent entries 12/27/18 ox-pho-grill-federal-way-wa.html

My BIRTHDAY month. It's my last few days in my 30s and I'm headed into my 40s. I'm not sure why, but I was usually depressed right around my birthday and, unfortunately, the only people that actually see me depressed is my husband and (maybe a couple of my kids). Honestly, it used to hurt my feelings that sometimes other people close to me didn't acknowledge my birthday unless it was a reminder on social media. Also, many times I felt that I wasn't where I needed to be in life (whatever that is). Well I've learned to accept things as they are and concluded that I just have too many expectations. It was this way of thinking that was killing me inside. I decided that, moving forward, I'm going to just do me and disregard anything or anyone that may remotely make me feel upset. So, cheers, to positive thinking and this next chapter of my life! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most current posts Life happened...that's what. I know, such a basic answer but it's true and it happens. I worked a few weddings - some local, some out-of-town - and had some interior design projects that had deadlines. It's been an insane couple of months. However, October should be a better month for blog entries because things will start to slow down a little for me. I'm excited to share some products I've been trying out as well as a couple of vacations I went on so stay tuned!
~XOXO, Mari Where did June go?! SERIOUSLY. With the end of the school year just a few weeks ago and the start of warmer weather (we're still having some cloudy days here in the PNW), it's hard to fathom that we're already in the middle of summer break. My kids start school again the last week of August! I'm looking to share more content - a couple may be on the deeper side of things. There is so much I'd like to write about that I have a feeling I may be a little all over the place this month. Still, I hope you're able to get some insight on at least one of my entries in the coming weeks. ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most current posts School's out, BBQs are in full effect, people are working on their beach bodies...needless to say, it's been crazy busy! With already half the year down, these next few months are going to whiz by. Again, this month, I will be able to produce a few entries for you. There are some exciting entries in the works and can't wait to share them with you! Cheers to the start of SUMMER! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most current posts It's May! Still in the thick of Spring (although, not so much here in the Pacific Northwest), summer will be upon us in a few weeks. This month, I'll be getting back on track to getting my blog posts out in a more spaced out manner as opposed to last month's entries where my entries were posted almost one right after the other in a matter of days. Enjoy this month's blogs and happy reading! ~XOXO, Mari *to be updated with the most current posts 5/27/2018 head-wraps-by-harts-pearls.html
5/20/2018 career-update.html 5/9/2018 easy-recipe-southwest-quinoa-salad.html Oh my goodness, this month was a busy one! . My makeup gigs are starting to pick up and a few changes are happening personally that has taken a lot of my time. This month will present only a few blogs for the time we have left until May but should (hopefully) entertain you as much as I enjoyed producing the content. Stay tuned for more in the coming week as we welcome the month of May. Ciao! *to be updated with the most current posts 4/30/18 dna-testing-by-ancestry.html

About MeMari here! Most that know me pronounce it "Mary" because of my full name (Marilou) but I've come to realize I'd like to be called "Mawry" (but it's probably too late, ya know?) ... however, I won't ever correct anyone if they say my name the latter way! Archives
